Browsers have become memory hogs, and that is keeping us from actually getting good information in a timely manner. But frotunately we don't always need good information: The incorrect information is building our knowledge model just as effectively, because like Jobe in the Lawnmower Man, we get it is small pieces anyway.
Sure, the browsers among us may not get to the deep knowledge in any specific niche, but we do gather knowledge anyway, and X.com is a great platform to gather such diverse information. And it shows: the EU fined Elon Musk 120 million because he wouldn't play ball with their demands for control, but it backfired. Within a week, X became the top downloaded app in many European countries!
And so, I browse anyway, at least in my free time. Never on the job, but my free time is my own, and I can spend it any way I please as long as it harms no one!
