Yes, I do think transparency is one of the requirements needed to remove negativity. Public ledgers are just one way of contributing to this clarity, and citizen journalism is another. Artificial_intelligence has also given us much information, and even if AIs have been made politically correct, there are always crafty it enthusiasts around that can jailbreak them into providing the truths their makers did not want them to divulge.
Should we be depending on commanding others to do our bidding? I myself can't stomach the concept: I had a belgian shepherd dog once, but never did keep it under tight command. Simply not the way to train a large dog, unfortunately...
