CROOKS acrostic poem artwork

Criminals Raiding Others & Obviously Killing Society

Crooks are a fact of life, but somehow some encounter less of them than others. I can still remember the last thing something was stolen from me: it was a CD player I had in my car, somewhere around 1990. And it was a crime of opportunity: I needed to drop something off at the office, so parked my car locked on the sidewalk, and took the elevator up four floors to drop it off. By the time I came back down someone had stuck a screwdriver under my door lock and ripped out the CD player.

Far more insidious are those that social engineer you, because they prey on your weakness, your belief that essentially people are good. Fortunately, on X we have Grok to assist us in weeding out the crooks: clicking the Grok button gives you an apt description of the post, a summary of the reactions to it, and a clear indication upon which to base your own reaction. It may not always be exactly correct, but it is a great assist for your discernment!

And then there are the networked crooks, that are toughest to beat. but fortunately various positive forces are equally skilled in taking down these traffickers. I am not a violent man, but I do feel hurting children is one of the dirty deeds that should never be done dirt cheap: getting caught abusing children should have an automatic death sentence!
