Deities are not the ultimate endpoints I observe in the Grand Overall Design. They may be far out, seemingly unreachable, but like the song said: "What if God was one of us?" I think we all are at times, at least the gods in our own reality, and sometimes the gods in other people's realities as well. Not the vindictive deity demanding worship and punishing transgressions, but the benign entity who assist and enables, rather than controls and suppresses.
Which deity rules us is the outcome of our own beliefs. If we think good is better than evil, then eventually that will be our world, because the world is as we see it. At that might be a very complex set of individual beliefs, which we should question all the time in order not to become stuck in the quagmire of the outside. Please balance it with frequent trip into the inner you, to balance everything out and help you avoid extremes.
