Some people seem to think God should not allow bad things like death and destruction to exist, but in essence this would be so illogical: if God is all that is, then the negative aspects are equally a part of Reality as the good things are.
When one sees the Grand Overall Design as including everything and everyone, then the good, the bad and the ugly are all included. And just like anything can be repurposed based on intention, any experience can also be seen as positive, negative, or anything in between!
And after all, in order to reuse materials and parts, it is sometimes necessary to destroy more complex constructions. Creativity often comes from thoughtfully destroying other things, but it is not about value added. It is about creating things that people love, often because they themselves would never have thought of creating that very thing in the first place.
