Discrete numbers are of finite resolution, and discretion is an attempt at severing links to other areas of reality that should not know of a certain secret. But as all is connected, the truth will eventually come out, no secret stays secret forever. And so the Wild Wild Web is stuffed full of lots of irrational information , and discerning the truth is becoming more and more difficult if you just focus on that.
But your intuition is always right. You may have difficulty interpreting it, but that too is a process of growth, and you will get it while you start to unlearn many of the things you were brought up with. In time you will learn that Bucky Fullminster was only partially right when he said fighting the system was useless, but instead you should build a new one that makes it obsolete. What he forgot to add (or I missed) was that you build the new system WITHIN the old one, until it becomes more than its former system.
