Those who don't believe in anything out of the ordinary call it Tinnitus, and go to see a doctor to have that annoying ringing in their ears suppressed. Others, like myself consider it information distribution from source, and even though we may not always know exactly what it says, we see it as positive.
I myself have a somewhat differing view of this, since I know about frequencies and how they mix: two slightly different frequencies combined cause a number of other frequencies, one of which is the difference between the two frequencies. And over the decades, more and more of the electromagnatic spectrum has been taken over by the various wireless technologies that mankind has used.
There were times that the ether was largely devoid of manmade EM signals. The main signals were acoustic, and sound became our language. Later we got long wave radio, which was in the kiloHertz range, and humans used modulation to make the radio wave carry our sounds.
Lots has happened over the decades, and the frequencies have all gone up into the gigaHertz range, perhaps even teraHertz in some cases. But the abundance of frequencies and their ability to mix freely makes it so some of the differences fall into the human range of hearing. And in my humble opinion that is what is causing the downloads.
Just like the bridge between our brain hemispheres, the downloads might be considered a bridge between us humans and the realm of higher frequencies, whether they are technological or biological.
