According to Elon Musk, this is where smartphones and computers are going: all our interactions with them will no longer be handled with programs handling specific functions, and will probably not even have an operating system.
Instead, more and more of the code will be replaced by end-to-end artificial intelligence, which will be generating responses to our inputs in real time. And Elon musk is the guy to know about this, as Tesla did something like that to FSD at one point in the past: wiping out 300K lines of C++ code and replacing it with AI instead.
