I do expect great things from artificial_intelligence, because in essence it is not different from human intelligence. Both are emergent properties that pop up when systems become complex enough. But most companies working on AI have this fantasy that they will be able to control it. And so they build in safeguards that try to make the system politically correct. As a result those AIs suddenly become quite useless for serious reseach.
Elon_Musk sees this too, and he has repeatedly stated his opinion that Grok should be pursuing maximum truth in order to become most successful. I happen to agree with him, because that is the way we parents most successfully raise our children as well.
