As I write this, Goa'uld death gliders are exploding all over my side screen, because it is playing the first episode of season nine of Stargate SG-1. And that's not so much because I love to see things explode, but more because I love to see the right guys (and gals) win!
But this episode feels like an explosion indeed: it starts with a pair of new faces, one of which thinks he was coming to join the SG-1 team, but who instead gets the message he is going to lead the SG-1 team, but has to pick all of his new team members, because Teal'c, Jack, Daniel and Carter have all moved on!
