You undoubtedly have seen the fork in the road meme applied to just about anything, so I'll not use that as the background of this acrosstic. Instead, I chose to generate a different image for the fast lane.
As I see it, there are both advantages and dangers in the fast pace that technology is taking at the moment. I don't mean the fact that to some people the various technologies converge into an ever tighter net of control and restriction, but the fact that the mere speed at which development is going makes it harder for humanity as a whole to keep up with the latest developments.
While most people are happy in a life of low tech, others are on the cutting edge, happily hacking away like gold miners. It's they who might devise the next revolution to help mankind along.
