I quit playing computer games decades ago, simply because life turned out to be a far better game to play. The last game I did play was probably a first person shooter, but the name escapes me for now. It must have been somewhere around the turn of the millennium.
The one game I do remember though, was "the Incredible Machine": close to one hundred levels of puzzles to solve by application of logic and knowledge about physics and the behavior of everyday objects. Closer to the real life game I mentioned earlier.
