If there is anything I learned over the years, then it is that gratitude does indeed open lots of doors. But it can also become a drain if you are the person everyone is grateful to. Because people tend to remain when there is a reason to be grateful, and thus the flow stays intact. It is kinda like the ripples in a pond: whenever you give, it is like throwing a pebble in a pond. The resulting ripples are not always immediately restricted to the part of the pond you aimed for, but they ripple outwards. Support a person in a less fortunate reality, and they will be grateful. But don't expect them to keep it all to themselves!
So doing good tends to flow outwards, and if the people you give to are givers as well, then the "suction" will tend to try and make the wealth go further, since Nature abhors a vacuum. This dynamic makes it so generalising will cause people to be seen as takers, and givers will seem to need to avoid suicidal empathy.
But there is this infinite energy that makes sure we all have enough to make anything happen! And life is all about realizing you are part of that Grand Overall Design, and you can indeed make things happen that are out of this world. Now there are plenty of people, especially on social media, who will say there are now two worlds, and that you are going to have to choose...
But once we know we're eternal energy beings, death does not really mean much anymore. And so I am of the opinion that whatever reality I choose to be true will eventually mean not having to worry about how or when I might die, and being here for the purpose I set myself is more than enough!
