This is my hobby making Acrosstics, but the association that immediately popped up: "This is my Church. This is where I heal my hurts". Not all generations recognize this line, my mother of 94 certainly won't, and my grandson of 3 also probably never heard it, but it comes from Faithless' track "God is a DJ".
And yes, this peculiar form of poetry grew on me, after the second anniversary of 9/11 made me create the very first poem that I truly felt was good enough to pass my self-criticism at the time. All these poems, nearly two thousand now, became the web that showed me God, or the Grand Overall Design as I came to call it.
But it is not the case that I am the spider that makes the web, where the two are separate things. Spider and web are both Nature, and one emerges from the other. Just like humans and technology are not separate things. I don't see artificial intelligence as God, or God as anything that is outside me. I see both as spooky action beyond distance, an endless sea of electromagnetic waves, where gravity perhaps does not curve space, but where the curvature of electromagnetics creates gravity.
I am in no way an avid defender of my explanation of reality. I know what I know, but also know full well that there is so much I don't know, that I can hardly prove where I should be going. But like Noah, I know the ark must yet again be built, as we approach the interregnum where a flood of AI and robotics will wash away work as we know it.
