As a kid I had trouble with integration, both as a nerdy kid thinking differently than the kids around me, but later on also once the algebra we were being taught came to the part were integrals were discussed: Even though I understood the concept of integration, the mathematical operations involved were lost on me...
But over the decades I learned what integration is really like: it is an ongoing process of thinking, researching, absorbing, doing, interacting and reflecting. And with it data evolves into information, information into knowledge, and knowledge into wisdom. Ultimately, that is how we understand the truth.
