Some people plan everything to a tee, but I am not like that at all: even though some tasks need proper planning, I tend to not plan ahead for what does not need planning. The biggest exceptions are the things I've never done before, like the planned vacation to meet my current partner and future bride this Christmas. On the other hand, I leave as much of the planning open, except for events like flights and planned hotel stays.
