They say you can show a human the door, but they have to go through it. What this literally means, is that you can only provide people with information, not with real knowledge. You may know things you believe to be facts, but they are only bits of information that happen to align. The real knowledge comes from you taking those facts, and combining them with new information or other knowledge to find new discoveries.
And then of course there is knowing, which brings certainty because it comes from intuition: you know some facts, and you don't doubt them, but you do not know why you are sure. You just are!
