I love it when a plan comes together, but often my outcomes are an interesting mix of preferences I realized over the years. It is funny to notice how my love for the voices of Laura Fygi and Teedra Moses have something to do with the lyrics they sing, and how an album like "Complex Simplicity" very much showcases what I find in the relationship with my girlfriend: she's a country girl with lots of dreams, but also quite honest in her appreciation for what we bring to each other's lives.
And as long as her dreams and mine are quite similar, we will travel this world together, whether or not we're physically in the same location together!
