Some people love to puzzle, like my Mum. She does sudokus all the time, even to the point where I did a little programming to create them on my printer, thus limiting the expense of getting new ones: six puzzles plus their solutions on one sheet of A4 paper, which means three thousand on one pack of bond paper which costs maybe the same as one printed booklet of sudokus!
As for me, I love puzzles that have actual real life useful solutions. Not talking about acrosstics per se, but engineering challenges that solve real problems. Or the life challenges my partner always has to deal with.
