Source does indeed teach through intricate plans, but this becomes more intriguing the moment you realize you and Source are one. Depending on where you verbalize the divisions, there is nothing that is not connected. Country borders become meaningless the moment you observe Earth from space! Calling something the Matrix does not diminish the fact it is still connected to or contained in the "real" world outside it.
I can say life is just the whole cluster of ideas inside my mind, but that does not mean that nothing outside me exists. Still, it also does not mean that my representation of that reality is really the ultimate truth. Is Earth a sphere or is it flat? You can argue both viewpoints, and even propose your own, but in the end we will have to come to the point where we all agree that different views don't necessarily divide us.
I recently had my long distance partner as a guest in my home. I'd visited her country to pick her up, and we spent the few days there mostly in the hotel, with me eating only small portions of the local food. Similarly, once she was here, her Muslim faith and her Filipino taste made it difficult to find her food that appealed to her preferences. Now we could let those differences break our relationship, but we both felt so at ease with one another, that we simply navigated around such obvious differences!
