Reality is far weirder than people commonly expect. What is common experience for one, is maybe totally crazy for someone else. Like I make acrosstics almost every day: I've never seen anyone do it quite that passionately. Others may do stuff that is equally peculiar. I could name a few, like Arjen Anthony Lucassen who is the mastermind behind Ayreon, Star One and a few other successful musical projects. Others have dreams which also may not immediately fit their environment, like a youth in Kenya wanting to be a photographer. It seems a bit out of the ordinary, but I've known him for quite some time now.
Now some people go to far more pronounced extremes, but they somehow cannot all be correct if the material world is something we all agree on. But Reality is far greater than the common view we think we all see the same way.
