The medical establishment is quick to call something a disorder, but is it really? Being diagnosed with a bipolar disorder at around 33 years old, I never considered myself ill. To me, the first episode that landed me in hospital was the consequence of my mind being stretched by a drastic new idea about reality, that made it impossible for my being to return to its previous more limited state.
Of course you can try to tell people about it, but since the ideas are so alien to them, you can talk all you want and only create a bigger moat between you and them. Instead I learned to fire&forget my messages, trusting the fact that the information will reach those who need it, just as the information I need always seems to reach me at just the right time...
