And yet, we are now in November of the same year, four months to the digit, and Grok was launched yesterday! Given a comparison on the strengths of the AIs it is somewhere between GPT3.5 and GPT4, but that was the progress of just four months of merging tesla fsd networks and x.com user data together, and tossing in a possibility to do "reasonable web searches".
But the potential of this new product is awesome: there were so many people aching to get in, that the X.ai servers thought they were dealing with a ddos attack. Instead, these were genuine requests to join the program.
