In my life, the non player characters (or NPCs) are the ones that focus on the negativity, and the things that they think the outside world does to them. That is why the acrosstic here reads: negativity prevents consciousness .
Sure, we all see the things that are tempting us to take opposing positions, to try and extinguish that which we think is not allowed to exist in our view of reality, but at some point in your spiritual growth you will realize that all the external dualities are nothing compared to the larger picture. You might even come to the realization that although death seems an insurmountable boundary, it is but a portal to a larger reality.
