Warranties are a weird concept. Truly good products don't break, and can be repaired. And even then, the customer usually believes that they got their money's worth. But quite often nowadays, things break just after their warranty expires. Paranoid people might think that the manufacturers create their stuff so it barely delivers quality, in order to keep selling us stuff we dwouldn't need if they did their job right.
