Fiat currency is wealth detached from value. We are told time and time again that society is going to collapse, and that we should invest in gold. But over the past sixty years I have heard this over and over, and still society has not collapsed. And I now see movements that point me to the new gold: highly integrated design and manufacturing mechanisms that will transform our society to something resembling a Star Trek future!
So my preferred gold is the warm color of sundown, as I walk the neighborhood in the evening. It is the warm voice of my long distance lady, a warm and kind woman way across the world. Or it is the music of bands like Ayreon, Ad Infinitum and the like...
