Wealth is everywhere, and is not just measured in the form of money. Money or cash is just one collapse of the infinite possibilities of wealth.
But one may decide to collapse that field of infinite possibilities in the now as money, simply because it is the form of wealth that can easily be handled to acquire other forms of wealth. Arriving at the site of Mark A. Haughton, it finally brought me to the realization that my views on wealth should include money as well.
