A little used word in 2023 has just gone viral: Elon Musk has announced the very first release of software from X.ai, and he has named it Grok. It is a totally apt name, as "Grok" is a term that originated from the science fiction novel "Stranger in a Strange Land" by Robert A. Heinlein, published in 1961. It means that one totally understands something.
This makes me happy that I did not totally say goodbye to x.com, and started a new account there yesterday, with only a few good friends rather than almost 5000 followers. I will however need to upgrade to Premium+ ASAP to get access to Grok the very moment it comes out of early Beta testing.
