The laws of thermodynamics seem to steer us to an eventual fate of total chaos. And yet, we seem to be seeing ever more order of intricate beauty in the part of reality we call life. And of course the laws of thermodynamics assume a closed system, and no real system is ever totally closed, because they all are parts of even larger systems, all the way up to the infinity of the all. And even then, this outer limit system may be closed, but it is infinite in size, which totally breaks the laws of physics.
And then of course there is the alternate definition of order. Is it any coincidence that when we order something to acquire it, we do so to increase the order in the life we want for ourselves? Or for others, for that matter?
