Like most art, poetry is a means of conveying the artist's view of the world, and not all are equally agreeable. The weird art of Pablo Picasso for instance was mainly a comment on his mysogynistic way of thinking about women. Still, many people seem to be in awe of the kind of warped reality he depicts.
My Acrosstics are a form of poetry, and over time they have not only been my way to express my view of the world, but they also strongly formed my view of what the world should be. But at the same time it has formed my view of art in itself: Art should "lead by example", not force its views on the public!
