Silence is awesome in that it allows for deep thought to surface: when your train of THOUGHTS thought is about to derail trying to find a certain piece of information in the grey mass you call a brain , then NOT focusing on that action brings the answer forward that much faster. It is like letting the surface of the pond grow still , so you can clearly see the tiny goldfish move around under the surface.
One experience I still wish to cross off my bucket list is the floatation tank : submerged in water at body temperature, and totally isolated from outside noise will silence the mind to such an extent that remarkable things start to come forward...
