Indeed, japanese Bonsai masters do not think their way into the design they have for their trees. Creating Bonsai is an art of meditation, and as such relies on intuition as much as all art performers do. Still, their art pieces are beautiful to behold, and clearly show the many hours and attention to detail that have produced them.
