Today's society is all too ready to call every dissenting view on reality a mental disorder. Heck, there was a time not too long ago when women fighting for the right to do what men did were considered hysterical.
But having been diagnosed as bipolar myself, I can say from experience that it is not a mental disorder. Instead, it was the sudden realization that there was an overwhelming force in Nature that was working towards order instead of the ultimate chaos the laws of thermodynamics doomed us to.
It is true that my condition requires some medication to maintain a level of normalcy sufficient to not be considered crazy or mad, but that is basically because my brain produces a bit too much DMT to have me fully productive as this reality still requires of me...
