Knights come in all shapes and sizes. From the Templars of the past, Knight Rider Michael, or the female Jedi Knight Rey in the more recent Star Wars movie, they all fight for some cause. But the cause itself either aligns with Life or counters it in some way. Still, I think life will win, simply because the product of positives and negatives has a tendency towards positive.
