Probably I can still learn a thing or two from the skeptics, because I would be considered the gullible type. But then that shows in the way this Acrosstic formed itself. Is being the skeptic the same as being closed-minded? Although similar patterns are at play here, there is a difference: even though a skeptic can be open-minded or closed-minded, that only varies the amount of adaptability of them. I chose the face on the guy to show he is the closed-minded type, but it only reflects my own dislike of skeptics and critics...
Skeptics may be always focusing on needing proof about the subject at hand, but in todays world we are fast approaching the kind of complexity where being able to prove anything is no longer possible. On the other hand, intuition is more.html">more and more becoming a primary tool in the assessment of our reality. Without intuition, we are doomed when it comes to understanding our surroundings.
Are we reverting to our more 'primitive' ancestors in a way? Or have the best adapters always been the ones with more intuition?
