Can stars vanish? They can go out with a big bang which is called a supernove, but is that very common? The people at the VASCO Project want to know, and so they are studying star observation data by comparing past photos with more recent ones.
You can help them, because they have a graphical user interface where you get presented with two photos, and you can compare them to search for vanishing or appearing stars or galaxies.
