This is the most insidious four letter word in society today. Sure, we need to be awake to our surroundings, but woke has such a negative connotation that I hardly ever use it. If you follow the money, then most of the woke movements are funded by the super-capitalistic institutions and robber barons like Rockefeller and Morgan.
The ESG is another one of those woke obfuscations: pretending to focus on Environmental, Social and Governance, and setting rules for what companies need to publish in terms of their compliance in these areas.
