"Some rules can be bent, others can be broken" is a quote straight out of the Matrix, and it is a truth if I ever saw one. And yes, at times we have to bend and break the rules, if we want this world to survive the onslaught of ever more limiting sets of rules aimed at taking away our human rights and freedoms.
This is not a call to revolution, just a statement of how the world works. I feel like "common reality" has blown war, conflict and terror way out of proportions, and the majority of humans just wish to live a peaceful life, content with loving the ones they love, and not bothering to bother others. Remember, if you have free will, then you must logically assume everyone else does too. That does however not mean that you can't take defensive measures when others assault your existence...
