There is no such thing as absolute proof. Facts are those situations in life that are just that much more accepted by society because more people believe in them. But are they absolutely true or false? Intelligent humans or systems can exchange information, but their knowledge is not something they can share: they can only share information, and thus try to minimize uncertainty. But in doing so they share beliefs, because what may be knowledge for one person might be other knowledge for someone with a different context.
And yet, openminded people realize this, and are fine with the fact not everyone believes as they do. This brings a far less conflicting reality to the foreground, as conflicts and wars are usually started because people cannot live with the fact that others have views that to them are irreconcilable.
