If I talk about my experiences, it is not to boast or compete. Instead, I retell experiences that usually confirm whatever is being said, or experiences that make me doubt what is being said. That does not mean I am humble by definition, but I do believe that nobody has to believe me about anything. If they have other opinions or beliefs, they should just stick to them unless they think I am somehow masking sense.
