Yes I added this acrosstic to my collection, but given the controversy around this subject, I feel it needs a text to explain my viewpoint around this.
I do not hate Jews, or any other arbitrary grouping you may come up with. I do however object to extremism, in whatever form. Just like all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares, it is even true that not all Jews are extremists, and not all extremists are Jews.
Sure, it is easy to point out that the book they live by contains some very strong language regarding non-believers and extreme rules of their religion. But not all Jews are actually that extreme.
It is true however, that following such extreme beliefs is cause for defensive action from the less extreme human beings who are being targeted, especially if they are small children. And since children cannot defend themselves, it is up to the adults in their lives to protect them.
