As we grew up in a world where matter was the basis of existence, the narrative shifted over the years as it became obvious that energy and not matter was the more basic of the two. Matter is just condensed energy, or in other words m = E / c^2.
But is this where the story ends? Nikola Tesla was said to be the father of the now famous quote: "If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration". And then there is resonance which shows how matching frequencies work together to transmit information across various mediums.
What if information or even thought or consciousness is more basic than energy? I guess we will find out eventually, as we learn to tune to higher frequencies, gaining access to more detail in our view of the cosmos...
