But this antique actually has three bellows that are driven by some of its wheels, so electricity was not a requirement yet. But it is nice to see the engineering behind this ancient technology: a wheel driven brush to pick up the larger pieces and catch them in the first compartment, whereas the finer dust would be sucked up into a separate dust bag.
