The medical establishment is quick to call something a disorder, but is it really? Being diagnosed with a bipolar disorder at around 33 years old, I never considered myself ill. To me, the first episode that landed me in hospital was the consequence of my mind being stretched by a drastic new idea about reality , that made it impossible for my being to return to its previous more limited state .
Of course you can try to tell people about it, but since the ideas are so alien to them, you can talk all you want and only create a bigger moat between you and them.
