The most closedminded people would say "Failure is not an option", and they are probably right: In life, Failure is inevitable, but it is not the failure that characterizes the human. It's what he or she does with said setback! As Elon Musk says, the essence to success is to never give up, and that is where we often go wrong: we eventually give up on something never knowing just how close we got to the ultimate success!
I for one have given up on trying to get monetized on X, because the five million impressions in three months seem to high a bar. But what I haven't given up on is creating on X, so in the end it might still happen. It's just that I have better things to do than trying to earn money on the Internet. It is a place for truthful and free exchange of ideas for me, more than a place to do business.
