If energy is more fundamental than matter, then it stands to reason that mind is too, since mind is more like energy than matter. As such, many people tend to believe in mind over matter, and so do I. But this is not such a clear-cut mechanism. I found for instance that if I toss something into the direction of a waste bin, it will more easily reach its target than if I consciously try to aim it there.
Similarly, if I happen to drop something, it is more likely to break when I have a negative thought about the outcome, than if my first thought is one of "It will be fine!". The Star Wars saga showed something similar when Obi Wan told the guard: "These ase not the droids you are looking for..."
