I love a meeting of minds, as it makes humans more effective. However, when multiple people connect in this way, it is essential they are able to communicate clearly. Personally I am mostly an observer in such meetings, only adding to the conversation if there is something to contribute. It allows me to get a better feel as to what is being discussed, rather than muddying the conversation with stuff that might not be relevant to the challenge at hand.
On the other hand, there is the Internet. It is the ultimate meeting of minds, not hindered by having to be in the same place at the same time. Still, the same approach is a smart one: as the webmind tends to connect more stuff that might not necessarily all be truthful. So we need to exercise extreme discernment. A tool like Ground_news is probably very useful in this case, but it is not all about news...
