Guilt can be a bitch, especially if others try to trick you into it. Just remember though, that all humans only act on the information they have at that time, and that it is perfectly OK to be wrong if you did not have all the pertinent information. You may have jumped to a conclusion, but if your intentions were pure, there is no God who will banish you to hell because of it. Even more: feeling guilt is the hell we create for ourselves!
being a better human does however offer you an opportunity to learn from the event: if you realize that at any given time you will always miss the next bit of information to come your way, you may decide to wait for a moment before starting the Guilt Machine...
