I may have to once and for all decide on which side of the lottery I want to be. Until now I've always believed in playing the lottery if only to disprove my Dad's opinion that he would never win. And I've also believed until now that playing the lottery occasionally would just give the Grand Overall Design a chance to bring untold prosperity into my reality.
But also thus far, destiny has always brought me unexpected surprses rather than ones that I "made happen": an open source project I was participating in suddenly being funded during the start of the AI craze, providing extra income, someone crashing into my car and totalling it, so I could choose a new one, or losing a job only to land a far better one!
So no more lotteries for me, I will from now on go from the viewpoint that if needed, Life will find a way!
