Funny how things coincide: I'm normally not one for terrorism, or violence in general, but action movies are an entirely different thing: I actually enjoy watching them, because there the violence at least seemed to have a purpose: to defeat evil. As such, I've just started to watch "Demolition Man" on the left screen here, and I guess you could see it as a terrorist story.
And yet, it also shows the longing for a time when 'perfect society' was still a while away. The 'modern humans have mostly accepted the neverending drearyness of a society without any unexpected happenings, except the underground and police officer Lenina Huxley. Yes, a clear and present hint to George Orwell, who wrote '1984' about a 'Big Brother' society where we wouldn't have any anonymity or privacy. In this movie though, it is mostly depicted as 'boring'...
